We headed down to Wahpeton, ND for a trip to the zoo on a rainy Thursday morning. A friend Amy and her daughter Yuri carpooled with us and we met Brittany and Bennet for a fun, albeit wet, visit to the zoo! See more at my Facebook (no account needed!): Chahinkapa Zoo We road tripped up to Duluth and the North Shore for several days before coming back through Wadena, MN and hitting Itasca State Park and the Mississippi Headwaters. The Red River Valley Fair had a lot of new attractions geared towards families with children so we headed out there when the gate admission was free. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day as well! Find more pics in my facebook album (no account needed!) That’s right, that is Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion Kid’s Day. We took Connor’s friend (and my neighbor’s son) Dalton along with us and fun was had by all as we got to see tractors, horses, and trains! Along with everything else, somewhere in there my big boy turned 2! and went as Yoda for Halloween! Connor will still tell you stories about the waterfalls that we saw, visiting the “Faces” (Mt Rushmore), and the buffalo who licked our car! Things are going well with these two. Connor adores his brother. When Graeme is sleeping, Connor tries to wake him up :p, when Graeme is crying, Connor yells “OKAY BAYYBEEE!” We are working on that!
