I had recently posted on Facebook that I wanted a certain lens, and Chris’s friend Tyler offered to borrow me a similar (but better) lens to see if I liked it. Tyler and Amy were nice enough to bring it over even! These are a few from when we were playing around with them. My favorite [...] Since we all go our separate ways for the holiday, we exchanged presents with Sarah on the 23rd. This was the first time Connor really unwrapped a present (before he just had bags and the ones that were wrapped he didn’t really “get”) and he really enjoyed it!
Trying to convince him to help [...] On December 20th we decided to head to Rheault Farm to Santa’s Village in search of the illusive “Happy baby on Santa’s lap” photo. Courtney and Lily joined us! First we visited the model Trains where they wrote their letter to Santa and had the elf cutouts.

Lily Next [...] We made it at a decent hour the next day (also right during a Vikings game!) and Connor was in a much better mood. We decided to begin immediately with the family portraits. First up, daddy and Connor, while momma figures out her lights.

That's better! And then with [...] November was a busy month for us, so much so that we didn’t take very many photos! We will begin with Connor’s Rocking Horse. For those that don’t know, Chris’s dad makes lots of neat things out of wood, like Rocking Horses and puzzles, to name a few. He found a pattern for this neat Rocking [...] Well, the time has finally come, Connor’s First Birthday has arrived. I had a lot of fun planning his party. We woke up at our normal time on Saturday, October 25, but we had a special breakfast of pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream. Connor dug right in! He loved them! Chris caught this adorable smile before [...] You’re already one year old. I hope it has been as fun for you as it has been for me. I love you very much and I can’t imagine my life without you. We were blessed with a beautiful October. On several occasions we went outside and played in the brilliant sunshine. This day we went out and I discovered that by putting him in the leaves, he stayed on his hands and knees to crawl, instead of army-crawling. This is the first time Connor crawled! These photos were [...] Ever since starting Tupperware, we’ve had these overly large boxes hanging around our house. This box was closed and had stuff piled on top of it, yet still when I came upstairs from putting Connor’s diapers in the dryer, this is what I found:
Naturally, like any [...] We spent a lot of time outside since it was still relatively warm in the afternoon.
