Well, the time has finally come, Connor’s First Birthday has arrived. I had a lot of fun planning his party. We woke up at our normal time on Saturday, October 25, but we had a special breakfast of pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream. Connor dug right in! He loved them! Chris caught this adorable smile before [...] You’re already one year old. I hope it has been as fun for you as it has been for me. I love you very much and I can’t imagine my life without you. I love planning parties. I just came to this realization. I’m having so much fun planning Connor’s birthday, and I loved planning my wedding. I should be a party planner. ~Jaci It is hard to believe what we were preparing for exactly one year ago today. Read what I blogged here. I’m very excited for Connor’s 1st Birthday, but also sad that a whole year has gone by. I wonder if I’m going to be a cryer at his party. ~Jaci Lindsey mentioned in passing that she was going to bring her boyfriend to Itasca State Park (where the beginning of the Mississippi River can be found, among other things) to view the fall foliage. That got me thinking that if we wanted to bring Connor to Itasca for the first time, we had better do [...] We were blessed with a beautiful October. On several occasions we went outside and played in the brilliant sunshine. This day we went out and I discovered that by putting him in the leaves, he stayed on his hands and knees to crawl, instead of army-crawling. This is the first time Connor crawled! These photos were [...] Ever since starting Tupperware, we’ve had these overly large boxes hanging around our house. This box was closed and had stuff piled on top of it, yet still when I came upstairs from putting Connor’s diapers in the dryer, this is what I found:
Naturally, like any [...] I think this was more of an impromptu thing, but both Summer and Kenny, and Brittany and Bennet came to visit one day while we were hanging outside! Summer (who is expecting) picked up a broasted chicken from Hornbacher’s on her way over. As you can see, both Connor and Kenny are food hounds.
