Ever year one of Chris’ aunts rents a lake cabin for a week. This year his aunt, uncle, and cousin visited from Hawaii during that same week, so we headed down in order to take family photos and enjoy a little time on a beach. Too bad we picked the coldest week of the summer for said events. It was cold but still successful!

The following are a quick series I popped off trying to get his eyes in focus.

Here are the guys on the dock fishing. This was after Steven and Andrew came back from an unsuccessful fishing trip to a friends shore where the DNR stopped them and discovered that Steven didn’t have a fishing license. Instead of fining him, they let him go as long as he bought a fishing license after, so he did.

Chris is kind of a sucker. For some reason he thought he’d take me up on my offer of staying longer if he jumped in the lake. The freezing cold lake.

When we got home later that night, we were right in the midst of a thunder storm that had the city alarms going like crazy. We always take those seriously, so we headed to the basement after bathtime. Connor had some super cute hair.
