“Is this my car?”

A funny story. Sarah and I were leaving Country Kitchen, where we had met Summer and Kennyth for some food. We walk up to my car (reminder: it is dark and COLD) and I put my key in the door and turn it. It seemed to be sticking a little, so I try again, at the same time I look in the backseat and notice some weird fabric. As I’m trying to figure out why I had my pants in my backseat, I look in the front at my steering wheel, and realize that the cover looks different.

Suddenly I say to Sarah, “Is this my car?” and we both look and realize that no, it is not my car, but in fact, a 2000 Kia Sephia in the exact same color as my car, parked only five or so spaces next to where we left my car.

I was so embarrassed, but it was so hysterically funny at the same time. We laughed the entire way home, at the same time hoping the owner of the other tan 2000 Kia Sephia was nowhere near a window at that point.
