Baby Class and Big Momma.

I hope Chris posts about his experience with our first baby class, because he can put it so much more eloquently than I. We had our first of five “Lamaze/birthing” classes last night. The woman who is teaching it (Jess) is entertaining and easy to understand. We did learn a bit, Chris more so than I. I must admit though, that neither of us were quite expecting the video. Technically, I never saw the video that you watched in 8th Grade Home Economics of a woman giving birth, I had “forgotten” my glasses (they were in my lap), so I couldn’t see the television. Had I seen that, I may have been a little more prepared for the utter horror that ensued. Sure, it might be better for us because it is *our* baby, but gosh, that think looked freaky.

Chris decided that we had changed our minds and this baby will be staying put until they find a way to get baby out without any pushing or cutting. We are pretty much hoping for a miracle, it seems.

In non-baby news, I’m still slowly but surely working on getting our wedding pictures printed. Last count I’m at about 200 prints so far. For the rest, I’m going to find the online retailer I like the most and send a disk in (because uploading 450 photos would take a ridiculous amount of time).

Chris is working on getting the basement finished. If I haven’t mentioned it here already, we need to have it finished so I can move my office downstairs and baby will have a place to live once it starts sleeping through the night. He has impressed me, he has a timeline and knows exactly what needs to be done and when, in order to get it done in a certain time frame (6 weeks, we are 9 weeks to delivery right now). I’m a very lucky woman to have Chris, that is all I can say about him right now.
