Today was our ultrasound!
It was amazing to see that little baby that is growing inside me. It definitely made it “more” real, though I’m not sure when I’ll be completely aware, probably not til the little one gets here. Chris was completely in awe, he just watched with a smile on his face as the u/s tech showed us various angles and explained what was what to us. She kept laughing because the baby didn’t stop moving! She commented several times on how active baby was.
Chris thinks it is a girl because he didn’t see any “peepee,” I believe was his words. At one point (when she was taking a picture of the legs) I would have sworn it was a girl too, but then I saw “something” though I think that was really the umbilical cord. Hah, we’ll have to see.
My midwife says that everything looks awesome and baby is doing fine…and the big surprise?
Baby is measuring at 19 weeks and 2 days! That puts us a week and two days further along than we thought AND means that we were indeed, pregnant by the honeymoon. So who knows!

WOW - I’ve never seen ultrasound pics like that - none as clear! I’m a bit in awe, too, lol. That one of their face is so clear - amazing!!
